Our famous durango fried chicken

We take pride in our Fried Chicken here at The Tangled Horn in Durango. Whether it’s our Chicken Tenders, our Southern Fried Bone-In Chicken Plate our Crispy Chicken Sandwich or our Chicken and Waffles, we do the same process with each recipe.

First, we start with brining our fried chicken for at least 12 hours in 8 different herbs and citrus. Then we soak it in a creamy buttermilk. Next we dip in our secret, Texas southern style breading and fry it to perfection. We dare you to find a better fried chicken anywhere, let alone in Durango, CO.
